Client / Veritas Vision

Veritas Vision is a distribution network company based in both The Netherlands and Nigeria. They envision a healthy, self-sufficient, equitable, and sustainable world for all. They contribute to this vision by bringing affordable, innovative life-changing products to neglected people and communities in Nigeria. They think that the problems facing Nigeria’s urban poor and rural dwellers are complex, so the solution needs to work on many levels. They bring those products straight to families’ doorsteps, educating customers about products and providing payment plans to make them affordable. They do this through a network of door-to-door sales people – their Visioneers.

Veritas Vision’s customers are the main characters of their story. At the same time their motto is ” Sustainable Innovation” That’s why we told their story through a smart, young boy who we named Ikechukwu Kabiru. It is a Nigerian name. We were inspired by many of those brilliant minds contributing to their communities by their innovations in Africa; Richard Turere, a 13 years old inventor living in Kenya. He invented “lion lights,” an elegant way to protect his family’s cattle from lion attacks. William Kamkwamba, a 14 years old inventor from Malawi. He built an electricity-producing windmill from spare parts and scrap, working from rough plans he found in a library book called Using Energy and modifying them to fit his needs. Kevin Doe, a 13 years old inventor from Sierra Leone. He taught himself engineering and built his own radio station with the materials he found in trash. He plays music and broadcasts news under the name “DJ Focus.” They are all Ikechuwku Kabiru who can achieve more if they are supported. We are aware of the fact that there are millions of nameless young innovators who have the potential to contribute their communities. Veritas Vision aims to support them with life-changing products. We are happy to be a part of this change.
