WHY GET TESTED?
ONLINE TRAINING FOR HEALTH AND HARM REDUCTION PROFESSIONALS.
Client / Correlation Network
Correlation – European network on Social Inclusion and Health, was established in 2004 in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) as a European civil society network and centre of expertise in the field of drug use, harm reduction and social inclusion. Since then, we have developed into a network of practice, research and policy coming together. Our activities connect harm reduction services, grassroots organizations, community-based services, research institutes, and health facilities from all over Europe. As a network, we cooperate with partners and policy makers on local, national and European levels. The network is hosted by De Regenboog Groep – a low-threshold service provider in Amsterdam that provides harm reduction services to drug users and other related target groups. In 2018, we changed our name to Correlation – European Harm Reduction Network (in short: Correlation Network).
HEPATITIS C TRAINING
Correlation Network provides a two days HCV Capacity building Training for harm reduction and low treshold service organisations. This training has been designed for peer workers, social workers, HIV/HCV test counselors, harm reduction workers, and managers. Basically, for anyone who works with drug users, sex workers, MSM and all people at risk for HCV infection due to sex and drug use.
In order to help people review the training and also gain access to some of the information about Hepatitis C, testing and screening methods they created an online training.
WHY GET TESTED?
We designed and developed this Online Training website for Correlation Network. We also produced 6 animation videos as a part of the lectures in this training. This animation belongs to module 3 in the online training. It answers the question why people should get tested for Hepatitis C infection?
